ello, my name is Ian Gillott, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I am a semi-retired electrical technician with a wonderful wife, four children and eight grand-children.

     My career has been predominantly that of carrying out maintenance and repair work on electrical and electronic equipment on board overseas ships, which at times has required that I travel abroad with a vessel in order to complete the task in hand.

     I came upon Dianetics in 1950 and Scientology in 1953. I have found the principles of L. Ron Hubbard’s “Study Tech” invaluable when diagnosing the causes of defects in shipboard equipment over a wide range of manufacture and types (some of which are quite complex), particularly when the pressure is on to get the job completed with minimum delay.

     My favourite relaxation has been boating, yachting and fishing in an otherwise very full and busy life.
